Established in 1945, the Wilston-Grange "Gorillas" are one of Queensland's oldest football teams.
"With a proud history of success of four season premierships and numerous reserve and colts premierships, combined with five Grogan Medallists, Wilston-Grange has a history which is the envy of many clubs in Brisbane" (Wilston-Grange, 2011).
For Spaceframe General Manager, Bill O'Flaherty, the Gorillas are a team close to home.
"Spaceframe are a proud family business. From that, as a business we try to support our staff kids' involvements in sports and generally try to support community events, fundraisers or associations that are attached to our staff. Wilston Grange is built into my family's life - my daughter Holly is part of the Women's team and my wife Bronwyn has previously volunteered in a team management capacity. It's great to give back to a club that has given my family so many memorable moments".
